People like Aurora are working hard in communities all around the world to protect their water, to stop plastic pollution, and to build stronger, healthier communities. In 2017, we are going to support and amplify their work. Will you help?

Next year, we're going to:

1. Tell great stories. We have two important kinds of stories to share. The first kind are systems stories, like The Story of Plastics—movies that shine a light on how our economy is built on pollution and what kinds of changes are needed. The second kind are stories like Aurora’s—stories about real people making real change in the world. Our world needs ideas and hope, and we will give both.

2. Go local. Bus drivers. College professors. Neighbors. These are the extraordinary, everyday heroes working tirelessly to protect their local resources. Our new grassroots fund (as well as our legal and tactical support) will supercharge their work.

3. Win big. We’ve looked closely at the global materials economy (our global Stuff system) and we’ve identified plastic pollution and water bottling as key places to intervene. We aim to campaign—and win—with the support of members like you.

With threats to our environment building on every front, NOW is the critical time for action!
